Planning Department Fees

Fee waivers - Fees for other government agencies may be waived by the Planning Director upon submittal of a written request for fee waiver before the submittal of an application.

Refunds - Refunds for withdrawn applications shall be based on the following:

Before scheduling a hearing, the refunded amount will be based on the amount of the unused fee calculated by the number of staff hours spent on processing the application.
Upon notice and scheduling a public hearing, no refund is available.

Multiple application fee reduction - Where multiple applications are required for a single project (for example, a general plan amendment, zoning amendment, and tentative subdivision tract map), the highest of the applicable fees will be charged at 100%. The remaining Planning fees will be charged at 50%.
