2015 Housing Element Released
A draft of the update to the Housing Element has been sent to the State Department of Housing and Community Development and is available for public review. The draft is an update to the 2010 Housing Element, and not a complete re-write of the Element. Statistics have been revised to reflect the most recent census and other data. Policies and Implementation programs have been updated to reflect programs that have already been implemented. An addendum to the mitigated negative declaration that was adopted in 2010 has been prepared to support the update to the element.
Below are the draft showing the proposed changes to be made and a "clean" version with all of the changes made.
